The Centre offered a presentation on violent radicalization in the prison environment to a number of community professionals, including many from the Correctional Service of Canada @CSC_SCC_en in Quebec.
The Centre hosted Kawser Ahmed, a researcher from the University of Manitoba, who is working on the role of community based organizations in countering violent extremism in western societies. This visit allowed an exchange between the experts on the prevention of violent extremism and violent radicalization leading to violence.
