Visit at the Centre

The Centre hosted Kawser Ahmed, a researcher from the University of Manitoba, who is working on the role of community based organizations in countering violent extremism in western societies. This visit allowed an exchange between the experts on the prevention of violent extremism and violent radicalization leading to violence.

Training session offered in Beloeil

The Centre provided training on the prevention of radicalization leading to violence to a group of youth home front-line workers in Beloeil who requested a better understanding of the issue of violent extremism.
