The Centre highlighted the first year of the campaign “What if I Was Wrong, When We Talk, We Learn!” with young people from different youth organizations in Montreal. The event “Youth Engagement for Peace” was part of the activities of the International Day for Peace in Montreal, whose goal was to create a platform for these young people to present their youth initiatives.
It is important for the Centre that youth speak up to promote the projects they are building with the goal of making an impact in their community. The organizations present were the collective Les Pentures, the Forum Jeunesse de Saint-Michel, the organization Say Ça, students of Rosemont College, a youth representative of YMCA Quebec, Apathy is Boring as well as artists El diablo and Webster.
