We are pleased to announce the arrival of three new employees into our team:
Vicky Laprade joins the team as a Research Advisor. She provides scientific support for the content of projects and tools developed to prevent violent radicalization and hate-motivated acts.
Vicky holds a B.A. and an M.A. in History from the Université du Québec à Montréal, and is finishing her M.A. in International Studies at the Université de Montréal. She is a member of the Youth Group of the CCUNESCO and has also held the position of Research and Documentation Manager at the Maison LePailleur Museum.
Camille Buffet joins the team as a Communications Intern. She’s in charge of developing the content for the 404 magazine, an initiative published every year with the mission of addressing radicalization, violent extremism and hateful acts from another angle.
Camille holds a B.A. in Religion and Culture from Concordia and is currently completing her M.A. in International Studies at the Université de Montréal.
Bifan Sun joins the team as a Communications Intern. She’s mainly involved in the production process of the 3rd edition of the 404 magazine, from content design to article writing, interviewing and field research.
Bifan is a Master’s student in Media Communications at the Université de Montréal and holds a B.A. in French Language and Literature from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Her research interests include the media practices of Asian communities in North American societies. She is also involved in the Montreal Chinatown Working Group as a translator and volunteer.
