Launch of two prevention and awareness tools
The Centre in collaboration with the Institute of Strategic Dialogue (ISD) and the Against Violent Extremism (AVE) network launched two prevention and awareness projects: the short film “I Was Wrong” and the comic book “Radicalishow 3: They Are Among Us”.
The short film
The short film “I Was Wrong” is the result of an unusual encounter between Pierre the protagonist, a former neo-Nazi skinhead from Montreal, and four young directors. Through this journey, it is Pierre’s singular story and his past within the extreme right-wing movement that are the subject of images. This short film also comes with an Educator’s Guide for youth workers.

The Comic Book
Produced in collaboration with comic book artist Eldiablo (already author of Radicalishow 1 and Radicalishow 2) and inspired by the experiences of several former right-wing extremists, the comic book “Radicalishow 3: They Are Among Us” is the third part of a series that helps to better understand the dynamics of radicalization in right-wing extremism.
The “They Are Among Us” comic book comes with an Educator’s Guide in order to propose activities to encourage reflection in school, community, institutional or other environments.

The purpose of these two initiatives is to raise awareness among the general public in Quebec of the problem of right-wing extremism.
