THE THEME
The theme of this writing contest is “Beyond Hate”, in connection with the second issue of 404 Magazine, which will be unveiled on November 16, 2021, the International Day for Tolerance. Registration
WHO CAN ENTER THE CONTEST?
Anyone aged 12 and over who is passionate about writing.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE?
- Write a text between 300 and 1000 words (Times 12, line spacing 1.5);
- All literary genres are allowed: poetry, opinion piece, short story, monologue, tale, etc.;
- Your text must have a title;
- Send your text as a Word Document or a PDF by email to info@404mag.org mentioning:
- Your full name;
- Your phone number;
- The category in which you are submitting your text: Youth (12 to 17 years old) or Adult (18 years old and over).
DEADLINE
All entries must be submitted by November 7, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. (Montreal time).
ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
Two winners will be chosen (one per category) by a selection committee composed of citizens who act as mentors in the CPRLV’s “A Presence for All” mentorship program. Winners will be notified by email or phone during the week of November 8, 2021.
Their texts will be published online and presented at the unveiling of the second issue of 404 Magazine on November 16.
