«Diversity of Ideas»  (projet du CPRMV)

Is a work of art inspired and produced by youth engaged in the community. The tree’s numerous branches and leaves represent the citizens of Québec and the diversity of their ideas. The piece also illustrates the belief that every one of Québec’s citizenscontributes, through their own unique individuality, to the growth of social togetherness and harmony. None of the tree’s branches are identical, yet that does not prevent them from all being part of the same tree.  The creators of this work feel that radical ideas do have a place in democracy, and that diver­sity of ideas should be promoted as long as it is grounded in a spirit of nonviolence.
