Jeanne Plisson, our new Community Support Advisor
As the Community Support Advisor, Jeanne Plisson supports citizens, professionals and communities touched by situations regarding violent radicalization and hate-motivated acts.
Jeanne holds a Master’s degree in International Law from Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, in Paris, and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Université de Montréal (UdeM). Jeanne has worked in various non-profit organizations in Quebec, including: the Canadian Red Cross, the Centre de formation sociale Marie-Gérin-Lajoie, Equitas – International Centre for Human Rights Education and MultiCaf. She was also a research assistant for the UNESCO Chair for the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Extremism (UNESCO-PREV Chair).
In her spare time, Jeanne enjoys downhill skiing, climbing and running.
Jonathan Chhun, our new Outreach and Mobilisation
As the Outreach and Mobilisation Advisor, Jonathan Chhun is involved in the development of partnerships and outreach activities including the implementation of public awareness activities related to the CPRLV’s prevention mandate.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sexology from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and has over 10 years of experience as a front-line community worker. He worked in socio-professional reintegration for the Auberges du Coeur, then became street worker and taught bike mechanics to high school students.
In his spare time, he rides his bike, whether in the snow, in the mountains or on his travels. He is also an amateur photographer.
