The CPRLV and the Montreal LGBTQ+ Community Centre co-facilitated a workshop called “Resilience, a Collective Affair”, online, where it was discussed how resilience, both collective and individual, can be used as a tool to get through difficult times differently. This workshop was intended for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers as well as LGBTQ+ accepted refugees, to create as a safe space to exchange on hate-motivated acts, with support.
Participants shared encouraging perspectives and touching stories that positively motivated and inspired others.
The workshop was the last in a collaborative series offered with the organization this month. For more information on the Montreal CCLGBTQ+, please visit their website at https://ccglm.org/en/.
