Participation in the 2019 Global Counterterrorism Global Forum

Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Working Group: Initiative on National-Local Cooperation in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE).

The CPRLV is honored to have participated in the 2019 Global Counterterrorism Forum and taken part in its workshop on National-Local Cooperation in Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism in Montreal.

The objective of this forum was to highlight specific country contexts (national, local, governmental and non-governmental stakeholders) of the present parties. The activities would focus attention on the practical challenges around realizing national-local cooperation across the spectrum pf P/CVE issues, including prevention, intervention, and rehabilitation and reintegration.
