Workshop offered in Saint-Léonard

The CPRLV is very pleased to have been welcomed at La Zone in St-Léonard, Montreal, to offer an awareness workshop for young adults and counsellors from the neighbourhood. The workshop focused on the documentary “La Bombe”, which explores the resurgence of radical right-wing groups in Quebec and elsewhere. The discussion that followed following this screening allowed the young people to recognize, among other things, the phenomenon of radicalization leading to violence, to discern the factors that contribute to this phenomenon, to provide examples of the history of different forms of radicalization, the role of the entourage, the meaning of far-right symbols, etc.
