Workshop: From idea to action, let’s talk about mobilization

The CPRLV and the Montreal LGBTQ Community Centre co-facilitated a workshop, “From idea to action, let’s talk about mobilization”, online, to offer an immersion in different inspiring prosocial initiatives led by people who have moved from idea to action.

The objective of this exchange was also to discuss how these types of initiatives can have a positive impact in reducing the feelings of frustration, insecurity, injustice and mistrust felt by victims of hate. This workshop was intended for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers as well as LGBTQ+ accepted refugees.

Participants saw some of these initiatives as dynamic, transformative, inspirational components of change that build bridges, build trust, and help people realize that it does not necessarily take an expert to be proactively engaged.
